The Irish Immigrants faith may be traced wherever they wandered by cross crowned spires, schools, hospitals and homes for orphans and the aged poor standing as monuments to the faith, hope and charity of the historic Celtic race. The symbol of salvation marks their graves. May their history be written that future generations may learn of the heroic efforts and sufferings of Irish Catholics at home and abroad for faith and fatherland. Their loyalty to the country of their adoption forms an integral part of the history of the United States of America from the beginning.
A statute of Edward IV A.D. 1464 ordered that all persons of Ireland within teritory controlled by England should adopt English
