Somerset MA Valuation and Tax List

Taken from the Somerset 1871 Annual Town Report
Although a Tax List is not a comprehensive listing of all the residents of the
town, it is a listing of all taxpayers, the valuation of their property, and the tax due, and also includes a listing of non-resident property owners in the town. Of note, the poll tax was assessed on all voters of the town whether or not they owned property. This is not a complete transcription of the tax list, but includes
only those individuals who appear to be of Irish surname descent.
